Players Have Given Their Consent
Reports suggest that all three players have already given their consent for the trade. The franchises have submitted the necessary paperwork and initiated the “Expression of Interest” process with the IPL’s governing body.

A High-Value Swap Between Two Powerhouses
If finalized, this deal could be one of the most high-value trades in IPL history. Both Samson and Jadeja were retained for ₹18 crore each before the 2025 mega auction, showing just how significant this move would be.

While the paperwork is underway, final clearance from the IPL governing council — including approvals for the overseas player (Curran) — is still pending.
